  When I in this situation as Pyke, winning while controlling successfully the vision game, I go Vigilant Wardstone as my second or third item. Not Edge, neither Youmuu&apos;s. The 20 CDR and the resistances makes more sense with this game plan. But if, and only IF, as a team we are up on levels, my team doesn&apos;t need damage to pick off, and the enemy team has difficulties to lock me down. Vigilant Wardstone is one of the cheaper gold efficiencies stacking items and if you are in this position, chances are you won&apos;t get value from expensive &nbsp;lethality items, nor its components in shorter games. <br><br>With 3 control wards it&apos;s easy to deny vision on clutch jungle skirmishes that can be devastating in the mid game, and later enables your passive to fully heal while you are waiting your cooldowns on fog pockets, safely close to team fights. <br><br>But lethality stacking is also fine! Opportunity for skirmishes and resets. It&apos;s the cheaper way to top lethality, damage, stun lock and mov speed while in W. And if R reset succeed even more mov speed to reposition other resets or flee. Yoummu&apos;s if you need to roam a lot between sides, or that are crucial skills to dodge. Edge of night, as you point it out, only has value on games that the spellshield isn&apos;t easily popped, and you need to survive damage combos (Alistar, Brand, Malzahar, Zed, Qyiana etc). Sadly that isn&apos;t good CDR options for Pyke, that&apos;s why I usually drew to Vigilant Wardstone, or I simply sit on top of one Brutalizer the entire game and fished Axiom Arc as my last item. I found Pyke&apos;s survivability is tied more to his cooldowns&apos; mobility than its HP or Resistances.
