The Spartan-IIs were initially meant to fight INSURRECTIONISTS, not the Covenant. Furthermore, they were first given Mjölnir Mk-IV not Mk-V. Mk-IV never had energy shields, it was just power armor. Mjölnir Mk-V was the first to be able to use an AI and had energy shields. They were reverse engineered from Covanent shielding technology.

Also, the members of Alpha-Nine were the only ODSTs in New Mombasa. They were given a top secret mission and steered away from the Covenant ship they were supposed to hijack. The ship jumped to slip space, killing all of the other ODSTs except Alpha-Nine. This was shown in Halo 3: ODST, but the part saying that all the other ODSTs died was mentioned in Halo: New Blood.

Other than that, really fucking cool video! Keep up the good work man! 💪💯

I feel like that should make a halo series of games based on a marine that somehow survives the whole 30 year human, covenant war ranking up to ODST

The S3’s augmentation was more refined not less. They also all survived the augmentation process

Dr. Halsey you created the Spartans to crush human rebellion, not to fight the covenant

You forgot the Spartan-Is. Sergeant Johnson was part of Project ORION, the original Spartan program. They were adult soldiers who underwent intense training and experimental biological augmentations that enhanced their strength, speed, and endurance. It was not as extreme as what Master Chief and the Spartan-IIs endured, but Johnson was still one of the UNSC’s first true super-soldiers.

Wait, what about the other branches of the UNSC? what about the UNSC Army, UNSC Navy, UNSC Air Force, and ONI?
