  I’m laughing so hard that nobody wanted Kitras’ “Dear Cookies” hahaha the music was a perfect touch. You two are just so lovely, kind, silly and make me so happy!

  I spent three days in Kyoto (I did not get to Nara, sadly) and I loved it. &nbsp;It was my favoite place in Japan. &nbsp;I actually cancelled a day in another town to spend one more day there! &nbsp;If and when you go back to that area, take a day or half day &nbsp;to do Uji, which is where the last remaining Heian era wooden structure is (most were burrned by fire). &nbsp;It used to be the house of member of the ruling Fujiwara family, but it was turned into a Buddhist temple by either the last owner or his son and is now a museum. &nbsp;Also, Uji is where most of the best Japanese green tea is grown. &nbsp; Stop at a restaurant near the subway exit ( you can get there from Kyoto by the subway, not sure about a train) and have all kinds of green tea delights and the best iced green tea I&apos;ve ever had! &lt;3 &nbsp;Love all your various Japan series &lt;3

  Thank you so much for sharing your adventures in Japan. I was overwhelmed &amp; had booked with a tour company. Since watching your first visit, I was able to gain enough confidence to cancel the group tour(which had several places we weren&apos;t super enthused about seeing)and plan it ourselves. Nara &amp; Kyoto are on our itinerary-now I&apos;m even more excited to go thanks to your work! Thank you again! &nbsp;🦌🍪🍜🥩🎌🎏♥

  I swear the deer&apos;s in Japan are a lot more interactive than the ones in the U.S, the ones in the U.S are just skittish and shy and literally keep their distance.

  That monkey was grooming the other monkey. It&apos;s a social bonding thing and also it helps to remove parasites and dirt from their fur.
