  Streets of Rage 3 just needed a few tweaks to be perfect to me. I thought it was a solid sequel though. It felt way darker than 1 and 2 tone wise.

  My Uncle bought me Streets of Rage 3 and Eternal Champions plus the Sega Activator for Christmas in 1995. I also got the movie Heavyweights with Ben Stiller. At age 38 now, I still haven&apos;t had a better Christmas than back in 95. Although N64 Chtistmas two years later was pretty awesome too. Being a kid in the late 80s and into the 90s was the best!!! Love you guys!!!

  They changed the intro and storyline. They took out Ash. There was supposed to be motorcycle levels that werent in either version. SOR 3 turned out pretty well considering what it could have been.

  My friend lent me SoR2 , which lead to purchase SoR3 , i was blown away by the new moves and ability for all the characters to run and unlockable characters

  There was a Streets of Rage game between SoR3 and 4. It was a 3D one. But then they renamed it Fighting Force.

  I had fun playing Streets of Rage 3 with friends during my childhood. One thing that my friends and I often wondered was why Blaze looked nothing like the Streets of Rage 2 artworks. Her outfit didn&apos;t even match these artworks either. Part 3 fixed this though because she actually shared the same look in game.

  I’ve always loved 3 best of all SOR prior to 4. I was aware of everything else mentioned but never knew the soundtrack was an issue until this video. I love how frantic Yuzo and the team made the music as it perfectly matched the bizarre nature of the game. <br><br>SOR3 remains my favorite of the trilogy because it’s the most technical. Comparing to Street Fighter, I always said it’s the Third Strike/Super Turbo of SOR: flawed on the surface but definitely a gem on its own with a lot to be found

  I should have invented some sort of funnel contraption to use in the arcades pumping quarters into these cabinets back in the day. I absolutely LOVED beat &apos;em ups and fighting games with a passion, especially Street Fighter, Fatal Fury, Final Fight, and Streets of Rage.

  I don’t like when people forget to mention Motohiro Kawashima’s musical contributions. His music really turns the YM-chip to the MAX.
