Thanks for all of the informative videos. 👍I'm wondering how you go about removing, cleaning and lubricating the winding stem on a pocket watch of this vintage. Thank you!

Your amplitude reading may be off because you have the wrong lift angle. On my timer default is 52 degrees, which I find is almost never the case of old pocket watches (generally closer to 42). I use my phone to determine to approximate amplitude, then adjust my lift angle until the reported amplitude and the level I see on the phone match.

The cam is good but consider adding some more diffused light to prevent shadows from burying detail in the shadows.
