Serena was symbolic too not just that she C-Walked but that she got fined by "the establishment" when she did it after her match. So why not do it on the biggest stage? ABSOLUTELY SINISTER!

I was one of the camera ops on this (the overhead of the X was one of mine) and we were presented with the messages being shown here before we even started rehearsing. You are one of the only people to truly understand what's going on here. Loved the video and all your takes on it.

Here’s the crazy bit about the “a-minor” part. The Superbowl halftime show is a concert. The crowd isn't silent the whole time. There are sound engineers whose job is to manage the levels of background noise for the television audience. That means when you hear the crowd sing “a-minor”, someone had to flip a switch to let it be heard on television. It was a planned portion of the show that the NFL approved and signed off on. If you listen closely, you can even hear the crowd start to sing the chorus as the audio levels even out back to normal.

his breath work is insane. The wind required to run around/dance in that huge space. Also to edit himself (the cursing and n-word) is so hard when it’s muscle memory all while staying on flow IS crazy. Seriously, Kendrick is the boogeyman and has ALL of my respect. This performance is art. Cannot wait to take in all the interpretations. Appreciate you, Knox ❤
