Thoroughly enjoyed educating myself by watching all about Eva Peron, Evita. Complicated and sad.

After 30 years in radio and television I've interviewed hundreds of interesting people from Neil Armstrong to Nelson Mandela but I feel few could more captivating and historically significant than Eva (Duarte) Perón.

At least Evita did things for the poor and for workers — schools, hospitals, etc, plus workers’ and women’s rights. And she was loved.
She was a product of her times and of the political upheavals and challenges of the times as well. It’s hard to denounce her outright.
Argentina’s decades of turbulence cannot be attributed solely to the Peron regime either.

Well, as an Argentinian I must say that there are different versions of this "historical" documentary. Not everything is true and remeber people, editing is a master art!
Still find it interesting, a different point of view for sure!

Combine the Stage musical Evita and the Alan Parker Movie, and with this documentary, you understand her life in Latin America
