  i like to believe that in the future, like after the book and show ended, marianne and connell find each other again, and at a time that their both finally ready for each other, and they end up finally living the love story they deserve

  I honestly don’t know whether to say thank you or fuck you. I watched this edit yesterday and was so intrigued by their dynamic I had to watch the 12 episodes. Let me tell you it was not a FUN SUNDAY. Heartbroken, but loved every painful second. You are an artist, this edit is amazing. I’m feeling so weird I can only imagine how the people who actually read book felt. Talk about literary hangover.

  “You kept me like a secret and I kept you like an oath” is literally them in high school. Connel kept Marianne as a secret, one he wasn’t ready to tell the world and wanted all to himself while Marianne kept him like he was a sacred oath and the most precious thing in the world

  In my head cannon, they’ll meet again when older and wiser and more settled, after Marianne gets everything wonderful she deserves in life, and Connell has the courage to pursue her above all other desires. And in 15 years we can have a sequel with these two wonderful actors, and it’ll be glorious, kind of like the Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy trilogy.

  Their chemistry is just off the roof! I fell more deeply in love with the book after watching Daisy and Paul in the series. They’re just brilliant! And I love how they remain best friends even after the filming.
