I prefer the war machine as it reminds me of my favorite movie pacific rim and IT PUSHES BOSSES BACK

 Both.
They're for different things. It's like comparing a a bottle and a box, both for containing things, but not the same things.

Refractor for DPS (killing the emperor)

War machine for the cool factor, doing a 1v1 with any boss that is not Emperor. Up path king of consistency, stays on the field for ages and for its "cheap" price does a really good job. Bottom path is when you want to see Mortal Combat in a tower defense game.

Behemoth is just better than war machine when it comes to range and dps. But cant stunlock bosses and does not stop to shoot. He runs over hordes with ease with up path and does insane single target damage with insane range for bottom path.

Place the refractors at the back of castralian reach. Massive range and doesn’t get targeted by Jagers or Alpha

fun fact: top path farm can make a lot more money than bottom path if you place them next to eachother
