  You don't need new wheels. Wheel styles are all about ego. This guy is a clown. Tires on the other hand are important, Crosstreks are not Humvees.I would do a maximum of a one inch lift and Bridgestone radial T/A's AT THE MOST at the stock tire size.  Just a slight boost. Or buy a real 4X4. You have a four cylinder engine and cvt transmission.awd. Not ideal for actual 4xd activities. Realize what you own. I have had REAL 4wd. GMC  Jimmy, Mitsubishi Montero, Jeep Cherokee. I now own an amazing Subaru crosstrek (2020). Not a serious 4x4, but something that can kind of go slightly off of the realm of the highway. It cannot climb a tree. One of the most satisfying cars I have ever owned. People change wheels to look flashy. Subs have high quality aluminum cast wheels. Why on Earth would you replace them? Just get some better tread and the T/A does just that for around $200 a wheel. Another wheel? What, with a picture of you face on it? Gold plated? How many engineers decided what size the wheel should be and then one guy that flunks gym class tells you to get a bigger wheel? Folks, be careful what youtubers tell you. Keep your car as close to stock as you can. A bunch of really smart people crafted this car and this uploader isn't one of them. Sorry uploader but you know I'm right. Leave the fkcng thing alone.

  I did it. 235/60r18s on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek sport. So, 235/65r17s are definitely doable. No rubbing even at full tilt. I’ve yet to test it off road but I’m purposely hitting speed bumps pretty hard. All is good. I was super nervous but I’m feel I get away with something good now.
