  people really fetishize texans too much, especially in texas. the boring reality is that we’re a heavily suburban state with a lot of diversity and a large working-class population. if it wasn’t for voter suppression texas would already be narrowly blue

  I’m really concerned that the stupid Democratic consultant class got to Talarico and now he sounds like a malfunctioning robot not answering questions or attacks and just mentally flipping thru a Rolodex of pre-canned poll tested phrases and word salads.  It was hard to watch him last night.  He’s got to fire those idiots and just talk off the cuff and be a normal human being.

  I am a Texan, I voted for Talarico in the primary and I will vote for him again. My dad dicided to vote againt Ken Paxton in the reupublican primary

  Living in Texas is whiplash. I live in Houston, and it's pretty blue here, but we always lose elections, because all these anti woke ads work on small town Texas.

  I grew up in Louie Gohmert’s district. Never underestimate how deep the sickness goes. I had a Republican friend whose parents came to Texas via coyotes. The sickness is the default
