Normally I don’t really comment but Thank you so much, Ajaz and Mehmood Bhai, for this wonderful podcast and for speaking about my uncle, Kader Khan, with so much love and respect. ❤️

As a little girl, I was fortunate to grow up quite close to my uncle. I was born and raised in the West, but he would often make a stop here in between his shoots, so I have many precious childhood memories of him. Even after all these years, it is always so special to hear new stories and little details about his life.

I had to smile when you spoke about the “two Kader Khans” writer Kader Khan and actor Kader Khan. 😊 It immediately brought back a memory. Whenever I stayed with my uncle and aunt in India, he had a separate flat on the floor above that was dedicated to his writing. I also clearly remember people sitting on the floor around him during his writing sessions, exactly as you described.

The world knew him so much for his comedy, but in real life he could actually be a very serious person. As a little girl, I never really understood that side of him. Only as I grew older did I begin to understand how many different layers there were to him. He was such an intelligent, gifted and truly unique human being. He even spoke Dutch, alongside the many other languages he knew. To this day, I have never met anyone quite like him.

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit his grave in Canada. I still miss him every single day. Watching this podcast brought tears to my eyes, but it also made me smile because it brought back so many beautiful memories.

Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for remembering my legendary uncle with such affection and for keeping his memories and stories alive. It means more to his family than you may realise.

May Allah SWT reward you both abundantly for your kind words and the love and respect you have shown him. Ameen. 🤲❤️
