  There was a policeman in my hometown that lived 3 doors down from Elvis and his parent's in Tupelo.

  I was about 6 my oldest brother was about 13 when he brought home and played on his box record player "Hound Dog" and I heard for the first time a man named Elvis. Of course the flip side was "Don't be Cruel". The whole family played that record to death. I had the privilege of taking my brother to a Elvis concert in early 70's. I lost my brother in 2012 and I will always cherish the Elvis memories I had with him.

  Once I brought up Elvis in a conversation to a woman 15 years older. I'm 48 and her eyes just lit up and her smile!....He was So So Special!........

  Love Elvis!  I was working in a little Chili parlor in August 16,1977 when they announced on the radio he had died.  Our manager closed and sent us home.  Love this blog.  Thanks again Jordan.

  I was at elvis last concert In indianapolis in 1977 I was 7yrs old and we were on vacation from ireland I've never forgotten any of it

  I was a young girl in the 60’s when I first saw Elvis on TV at my grandmas house. She loved him and his  music which always amazed me how cool my grandma really was dancing to Elvis music.
