  It was it 78-80 i was in my late teens and early 20s I worked at a rock crusher in a little county in Oklahoma, The owner had 5 Euclids all were old to me at the time but still worked great. No AC no Heat, Dusty as hell (limestone crusher). It was a time i will always remember the sound of those old trucks (strait exhaust). It was a lot of fun driving them and the crew we had was the best.

  Hitachi bought Euclid. They started replacing the driveline with their own "Hitachi" electrics and rear axle but still use the Cummins engine.

  seems gov needs to stop picking winners or loser in business they always back losers , &nbsp;i do think stricter standards on buying businesses though so many murgers have failed when conglomerates gets too big or wrong management standard oil breakup Rockefeller got even richer, att breakup today what&apos;s left is bigger than att ever was <br>and we lost innovation of bell labs &nbsp;gm was target of breakup then billions in tax money wasted yto save them result gm imported the first china made cars, &nbsp;A&amp;P in lat fifties target of breakup where are they now &nbsp; drug chains cvs, Walgreen&apos;s bought every pharmacy possible rite aid another right aid bankrupt cvs and walgreen closing stores daily &nbsp;, supermarket mergers allowed only to fail &nbsp;seems gov forgets how competition works &nbsp;but it allows one but then wants to break up or sel parts off <br>less murger allow the co to fail and stop tax to fund stupid things , my county jumped in on subsiding ventures and ball parks &nbsp;of 12 only 1 or 2 sucedded &nbsp;costing taxpayers millions. ball stadiums &nbsp;5 or 6 since post korea &nbsp;last one used parks money ment for open parks not a billion dolla ball teem and the previos one still not paid for now costing millions to demolish &nbsp; firs ones were not expensive last 3 very expensive and only used 6 weeks yo but need 52 weeks care by taxpayers
