It's not just IGN. Lot of YouTubers were proclaiming the death of the Switch 2, too bad the numbers say exactly the opposite.

I am not surprised. I gave my cousin my Steam Deck along with my Switch to test them out. He said the Deck was way too complicated and that he would be getting a Switch instead. Most people don't have the knowledge to manage a portable PC, despite what PC users think. Hell, I had to show a new hire how to use Excel last week because he was not PC literate enough.

Nintendo switch 2 is the correct evolution for the switch. It improves everything on the original and has third party bangers. For people like me, it's a great purchase. Not too hardcore mostly Casual and lets me enjoy the bangers. Ign just wants/needs clicks
