If I was the kind of person who has a portrait of themselves painted, I would love it if Christian Hook was my portraitist. His art is absolutely stunning!

Christian really is just head and shoulders above everyone else.

Christian’s is obviously the best painting! It is not surprising that the sitters both wanted the same one.

How interesting! The winner was called Christian in this particularly purposeful antogonistic couple. Even more so because Richard also chose Christian's and lost.

Ania Divine does absolutely amazing work with watercolours. A medium that to me seems very ‘fuzzy’ and imprecise, yet she manages to get that watery paint to behave, to do what she wants it to do. It’s so impressive. I envy those who have her as their art teacher.

Banjay, please include a date and number these episodes so we can watch them in order and work out episodes we’ve already watched. I like your new brand. Thank you.

The likenesses in this round of the competition were almost all spot-on. Well done, Artists!! 🧑🎨 The sitters chose well

I love how Joan Bakewell quietly and succinctly called out the judges when it came to the portraits created by Laura ("I don't get it") and Christian ("I have a sense that you feel that because it comes easily to him, that counts against him").

It seems to me that the title of this double portrait should be “Beauty and the beast.”
