#DrElyJuliana 🇲🇽 #StraightTalk 👅 #Prosthodontics This video is the third in a series where I show you how to make a complete upper and lower denture for an edentulous patient, step by step. From the beginning, I cover how to take our primary models to make custom trays, the final impression, wax rim try-in, height adjustment, occlusal registration, etc. I'm sharing how this case was handled and how I do it in my private practice, so you can pick up any tips that might be useful. ✅ Schedule your appointment 🦷 ☎️ 8181234550 📳 8180859097 🕒 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm 📍 Mitras Centro, Monterrey, NL Mexico 🇲🇽 🌐 More info 👉 www.draelyjuliana.com #completedentures #fulldentures #dentalprosthesis #completedentures Follow me on: https://draelyjuliana.com/ Facebook: Facebook: draelydiaz Instagram: @dentistasenmonterrey Complete dentures are removable (false teeth) or fixed (implant-supported) devices that replace all missing teeth in one or both arches. Generally made of resin, they restore aesthetics and chewing function. The fabrication of a complete denture typically requires between 3 and 5 appointments in the dental office, interspersed with technical phases in the dental laboratory. 1. Diagnosis and Initial Impressions A clinical examination of the oral cavity is performed to evaluate the health of the gums and bone. A preliminary impression (generally with alginate) is taken to obtain study models. 2. Final Impression and Custom Trays The laboratory fabricates custom trays for the patient. With these, the dentist takes a high-precision impression (using silicone or flowable polymer) to capture exact details of the tissues and the peripheral seal. 3. Maxillomandibular Relationship Record Wax rims are used to determine: Vertical dimension: The correct distance between the maxilla and mandible. Lip support: Orientation of the rim according to the smile line and the patient's profile. Tooth color and shape: Selection of the teeth that best harmonize with the face. 4. Wax-Up Trial (Teeth in Wax) A trial is performed with the teeth mounted in wax on the models in a dental articulator. The patient can see how their smile will look, and the dentist verifies the occlusion (bite) and speech before the final acrylic fabrication. 5. Delivery and Adjustments The finished prosthesis is placed. It is common for the dentist to make minor adjustments to eliminate pressure points. Follow-up appointments are then scheduled to ensure comfort and proper adaptation. #dentalprosthesis #completedenture #falsedentures #prosthodontics #julitudentist #draelyjuliana #bmdclinic Follow me on: https://draelyjuliana.com/ Facebook: Facebook: draelydiaz Instagram: @dentistasenmonterrey Schedule and phone number for appointments and more at 👉 www.draelyjuliana.com ❤ SUBSCRIBE IT'S FREE!!! ❤ ✅ Make your Appointment 🦷 📳 8180859097 WhatsApp 🕒 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm 📍 Mitras Centro, Monterrey, NL Mexico 🇲🇽 🌐 More info 👉 https://dentistamonterrey.mx/ Dr. Ely Juliana Díaz License No. Prof 3628860 Specialty License 5361915 UANL Cofepris Permit 2419012002A00788 AP 2419012002A00790 😉 A million thanks to everyone, we love you all so much!! ❤❤❤😍 🚨 SUBSCRIBE, it's FREE!!! 🔔 so you don't miss anything!
