  I use to live in Red Rock and miss that bay very much. Yes, those were coyote tracks that you saw on the ice rd. Lots of coyote sightings on the ice in front of the town. They don't head too far out into the bay as the timber wolves would kill and eat them.  I wouldn't be surprised if you drew those timber wolves out onto the ice. They have a distinct advantage surprising a moose,deer,otter etc out on the ice and often look for silhouettes and investigate once they are seen. Once they got close enough to see and smell you they wouldn't want to venture any closer.

  I was literally just moaning to my partner that I was suffering from Canoe-dling Deficiency ( meaning I was missing seeing my favourite Canadian Canoe-dians), and HERE YOU ARE!  Not canoeing i know, but just as good on the snow. Cheers from a grateful me in UK.

  Doesn't bathe for eight days, inability to thoroughly wash hands, drinking straight lake water, but concerned about sponge bacteria 😂. Another great vid even with my winter fatigue at an all time peak right now. The wolf encounter must have been unreal!
