지구에서 가장 깊은 곳에는 무엇이 있을까 | 수심 11km 아래의 세계

The deepest point on Earth, the **Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench**, lies approximately 11 kilometers below the surface. So deep that even if you placed the entire Mount Everest there, seawater would still remain above the summit, what exactly can be found in this place? In this Earth documentary, we descend into the **deep sea world at a depth of nearly 11,000 meters**. Passing through the deep ocean where sunlight completely disappears, we arrive at the deepest ocean floor, where we encounter water pressure reaching approximately 1,100 times greater, cold water, fine mud, and life forms adapted to this extreme environment. However, the Mariana Trench is special not simply because of its depth. Here, the ancient and cold *Pacific Plate is subducting beneath other plates and sinking into the Earth's interior.* This process of the ocean floor bending downward has continued for tens of millions of years, creating this massive trench. Why is the Mariana Trench deeper than other trenches? How does life survive 11 kilometers below the surface? And how far down does the ocean floor extend into the Earth? From the Challenger's first depth measurements in 1875 to modern deep-sea submersibles and unmanned exploration, we follow the *true nature of the deepest point on Earth* that humanity has uncovered, one by one. The ocean we see is not the end. Beneath it lies a massive tunnel where the Earth's surface continues to return to the Earth's interior. Explore the story of Earth, seen and heard like a movie, together at the **Earth Documentary Hall**. 00:00 The Ocean Deeper Than Everest 00:51 Discovery of the Challenger Deep 03:21 11km Below the Surface 03:40 The Deep Sea Where Light Disappears 05:40 The Ultra-Deep Sea Zone 6,000m Below 06:27 The Bottom of the Challenger Deep 08:05 The First Manned Deep Sea Expedition 09:20 The Deepest Point Rediscovered by Humans 10:02 Life 11km Below 11:08 Why Is This Place Only 11km Below? 11:42 The Identity of the Mariana Trench 12:39 The Connection Between Trenchs, Volcanoes, and Earthquakes 14:18 Why Is the Ocean Deep? 16:04 The Seafloor Sinks as It Ages 17:25 The 150 Million-Year-Old Seafloor 19:04 The Moving Pacific Plate 20:19 The Seafloor Disappearing in Trenchs 21:25 The Valley Created by the Bending Floor 21:42 Subduction Zones and Deep Earthquakes 23:07 Volcanoes Created by Water 24:27 The Mariana Mud Volcanoes 25:24 Why Is the Mariana the Deepest? 27:02 No Continent to Fill the Trench 28:23 Subduction Continued for 50 Million Years 30:00 Life Under Extreme Pressure 31:19 The Survival Limits of Fish 32:06 What Do Deep-Sea Creatures Eat? 33:15 Trenchs Gathering Food 35:17 Pollution Reaching the Deepest Depths 36:03 Plates Descending Beneath the Trench 37:28 The Moving Mariana Trench 38:34 The Slowly Disappearing Pacific Ocean 39:26 The Gateway into the Earth #MarianaTrench #ChallengerTrench #DeepSea #DeepestPlaceOnEarth #EarthDocumentary #EarthScience #Trench #DeepSeaExploration #PacificOcean #EarthDocumentaryHall
