The "lifetime" transmission fluid refers to the lifetime of the warranty, not the car.

that famous key-on, floor-the-gas-pedal trick does not work on a 1995 E34.<br>That procedure is strictly for much newer BMWs equipped with electronic "drive-by-wire" throttles (like the E60, E90, and later models) paired with digital motor electronics or electronic automatic transmissions that store driver-behavior adaptations.

Be careful with disconnecting the battery though. I had to pay 150 euro because i disconnected the battery on my E82. The frm module stopped working when i disconnected the battery because it had critical errors saved so i don't have the necessary tools to delete those critical errors i thought disconnecting the battery might restart everything but it broke the frm. The thing is that my frm module was working perfectly and i didn't have any light on the dash. So i wanna say that if you disconnect the battery for any reason even if you don't have any light on the dash be prepared for your turn signals to stop working and your windows, hazard lights and other things. But at least you will have break lights. "At least i head break lights" and be prepared to pay for the frm to be fixed or replaced. I suggest do not disconnect the battery on the BMW. Aaa one more thing if you decide to disconnect the battery anyway be cautious with the boot or trunk whatever you call it because the BMW has removed the key slot i think from 2010 im not sure. I have the 2011 E82 and i dont have that so if you disconnect the battery never close the boot lid because i you do you can't open it again and you need to use the jump-starting points on the engine bay to hookup a 12v jumpstarter to supply power to the system to open the boot lid and connect the battery. Im talking from experience here 😅😅

I'm currently on my dourth and fifth BMW 3 series cars. About 75% of this video was relevant to my cars (both E46 330i) but it's something I do as paranoia about not wanting my cars to break because I love them.

Run high octane, non ethenol gas! 96-115 octane without ethenol burns under compression around 120-150○F. Ethanol won't light even under extreme compression until well over 500 degrees fahrenheit! All that ethanol clogs you rings, plugs!, valves, ECU, lots of things. We did this to subsidize, it's farming in the US in the 70s. When farmers were having problems and the gas it was very hard to get.So regular Petrol was watered down with ethanol just to solve both problems. It turns into sludge and your engine either your engine can run on ethanol or it can run on regular petroleum but it can't run on both unless it's a flexy fuel car Which is made to run clean on ethanol and clean on petroleum! Ï but get an engine that runs cool. And clean and thousands of miles before the plugs are, the oil needs to be changed. I've got a 2006 E46 BMW M3. It has 200 in 46000 miles on it. It still runs like, it's almost new! Run non corn, it's just carbon buildup, dirty oil and causes moreware on your engine. And parts and you have to rebuild the engine at under $100,000. Give it a try!
