News you can use:

- In case you can't tell, I'm not a professional gift-wrapper. I'm just some goober on the internet. Anybody who criticizes my gift-wrapping is going to get goosed by a very grouchy elf. Unless you're coming to my house to wrap all these presents for me, please just...don't say it. I suggest you take your talents and wrap some beautiful presents for folks in need in your area.

- Yes, there are a lot of cuts in this video. I know a lot of y'all hate that. Have you ever recorded yourself while wrapping gifts? It's surprisingly loud, no matter how hard you try to do it quietly. You'll hear a lot of very sharp, harsh sounds that you wouldn't really expect. Some people don't mind them; some people do. Wrapping paper is almost impossible to handle quietly, especially the heavy-duty, thick paper that I use in these videos. Since I can't please everybody, I cut out the stuff that I don't like. I do what I want.

- Cutting out the cutting of the paper is necessary. No, I won't leave it in. Again, it's extremely harsh and loud. Somebody's always going to be unhappy no matter what I do.

- Yes, the instructions stated that all gifts should be wrapped. Some organizations ask that you bring them unwrapped gifts, but not this one.

- This is a series of videos. I had a total of five Angel Tree kids to wrap gifts for. I won't be showing all of the gift-wrapping because it would literally take HOURS to do it all in a video. I have to wrap presents very slowly for these videos, and it's a bit maddening after a while. In real life, I wrap about three times the speed that you see here. As much as I enjoy it, I do have other things that I need to get done every day. (Also, that table is a bit too low and gives me a killer back ache after about 30 minutes.)

- I do the tape and wrapping paper in the way that suits me best. Whatever way works for you is the right way for you to do it. That applies to me, too. (You’d never believe how loud tape can be.)

- The Angel Tree process is anonymous, both for the giver and the receiver. I’ll never know who they are, and they’ll never know who gave the gifts.

- The Angel Tree kids who aren't selected do receive something for Christmas. The organization provides at least one gift for every child, whether someone chooses them or not. I would love to help more if I had the money and the time, but at least we were able to help five this year, which is awesome!

- I will get back to making other types of videos tomorrow. I've been making YouTube videos for over seven years and currently have over 3,300 videos available here for your viewing pleasure. If you dislike this type of video, please check out some of the thousands of other videos for the next few days. :)

- This list is not intended to be mean or snarky. It is compiled of the most common issues that crop up every year when I wrap presents. I find that addressing things upfront in a pinned comment cuts way back on the problems in the comment section and makes the experience much more enjoyable for you AND me.

Thank you, and happy holidays! :)

I do the Angel Tree as well. I buy toys and other items on clearance all year at Walmart, Barnes & Noble discount section, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and anywhere else with good deals. I get books online from Book Outlet. Then I match the toys to the tag. It's worked so far. I started up again in 2020 and just bought the toys at that time, but then I realized saving discount toys throughout the year would be better, so for 2021 and this year that's what I did.

It doesn't matter what kind of box u use, my friend and some cousins use cereal and other boxes to wrap stuff in lol I love those square boxes u can get at Walmart, they're a good size and some are thick boxes...I try to get some every year after Christmas, I just love them. Yeah the kids don't really care about the paper, they rip into it before they know what the paper is lol I like using certain kind/character paper for certain people 🙂 love your videos 😊
