How did Christian music history shift from burning Elvis records to a billion-dollar industry? This series tracks that strange evolution. Many remember a time when the church actively protested rock and roll. Over ten episodes, we map out the cultural shifts that allowed this transformation. We look past the surface to understand the business and theology behind the music you hear at Hillsong, Bethel, and Passion. Whether you are curious about the sociology of worship music or simply interested in the history of the CCM industry, this series provides the context needed to understand why religious music sounds the way it does today.
