  Skip Jack fishing is super fun right there,I can fill up a 5 gallon bucket in a hour,I also have caught some massive catfish bank fishing at Barkley

  Not sayin they aren’t below the dam but my personal best on the lakes above the dam is a 6lb 13oz smallmouth n a largemouth over 7 ! Glad you whacked em enjoyed the vid

  Not sure about below Barkley dam but both lakes and below the ky lake dam I see an average of 3 Lb on the smallies

  Love your channel I'm a ky resident and you was fishing my back yard have caught many good fish right where you stand at lower barkley bridge pillar. Whitebass,hybrds,stripers,small and large mouth ,gills,blue,channel,and flathead catfish all can be caught right their ! If you get to come back go try the connecting channel for Barkley and Ky lake great place for smallies use 4 inch smoke ,pumpkin seed color tube 1/4 ounce jig head bounced down rock ledges or shelves and hang on !!! Around the bridge pilings there is also great to fish mixed bags and lots of fun .if you don't catch fish there you can't catch them anywhere!!! I love Barkley and ky lake so much and so many fish !!! Also try out the trout fishery too for rainbow and brown trout at Wolfdam ,and Cumberland lake in ky along with many of our government stocked finns lakes for trout ,cats,red ear loads of fun just pick up a trout permit along with your fishing license you won't be disappointed there either !
