  It’s really a low risk move for Liverpool. Doesn’t have to start and a loan move so they dont have to keep him if they dont want to. This is all if he ends up being awful. However, if he comes back to his form that he was in under xavi, he could be a fantastic option.

  You think Araujo is a clown? no one would have forgotten how useless Konate was the past 2 seasons. I would happily take Araujo over Konate.

  Playing alongside Virgil means he doesn't need to lead the defense and just follow. He has all the physicality needed in the premier league and also a new start could make him a legend in Anfield.

  Strong, fast, very athletic. Perfect for English football, not Spanish football. Big aggressive veteran, can help on free kicks and corners. Glass half full, I am happy to see him come in, given our weak options in the back currently

  The thing is this kind of works for Iraola. Iraola is all about high intensity and aggression. Iraola won't get mad at a yellow card. As long as Araujo can work that gegenpressing football and avoid getting the second yellow, he can be great.
