The auto captions are something of an experience by themselves: "Be careful of Craigslist thoughts"

Henwick should have gotten himself a beautiful border collie!

Any time a story starts off with , " it was a year ago on
this very night ", you know its gonna be good one 😂

Stunning music and cinematography. The house itself is a character that builds an atmosphere of dread. This is a masterpiece.

Oh wow... this shows the haunting beauty of these forebodingly gorgeous coastlines, and the old fisherman's tales, just sit in my heart with so much soul. This was so beautifully directed, the sounds of the winds and crackling fire, the warm then cool lighting, the phenomenal actors.. the creepy feeling you get without seeing more than mere glimpses of his torment.. so well done, I'd love to see these actors in more films. They both are fantastic, but the actor who played Henwick is exceptional. Especially with this content. Absolutely love this. I'm usually extremely critical of ghost story films but this has it all. ❤ its heartbreakingly beautiful as well as how it gently insinuates that now the preacher has this burden. Will he as well be followed and taunted to death as his poor predecessor? So enchanting and filled with darkness and soul.

The snene at the end must of been terribly difficult to act and film, goodness! The aggressive ocean wind has no mercy but the priest stood his ground.

Great movie, albeit short; got 'The Signalman' by Chales Dickens and M. R. James vibes combined, finally. Thank you again for such a gift.
