  I am finding that I would pay a bit more to travel on luxury cruises as the cruise companies are starting to make passengers pay for things that were usually included. &nbsp;Luxury cruises usually include a lot of the things that the premium cruiselines are now charging extra.

  Hello,<br>Nice vlog of Explora II.<br>My wife and I are booked on our first luxury cruise with Explora Journeys on Explora III in mid March 2027 for an 8 night itinerary embarking in Bridgetown Barbados to St Georges Gernada, Castries, Martinique Fort De France, a overnight stay in Gustavia, Spanish town ( Virgin Gorda) and two back to back sea days before disbarking in Miami.<br>We booked a Cove Residence COJ Suite on deck 8 port side of the ship and we are booked for a three night pre - cruise stay in Barbados before embarking Explora III.<br>Our preferred line to sail with is Celebrity and we just came off an 11 night Panama Canal and ABC Islands itinerary back in March with 3,200 passengers so going on a luxury ship with 920 or less passenger&apos;s will be a different kind of experience.<br>Thank you.

  Once you go Explora it&apos;s hard to go back! For me, the only thing that comes close is The Retreat on and Edge class Celebrity ships, but it&apos;s so much more expensive for The Retreat, usually. Especially if you are a solo cruiser. You can find a bunch of 25% or less solo supplements on Explora - it seems like Celebrity actively discourages solos. Great video. I can&apos;t wait to get on my next Explora trip in November. PS - the Emporium Market Place is so far and beyond a &apos;buffet.&apos; In my opinion, you can&apos;t really call it a buffet. Everything is made to order, and they bring it to you when it&apos;s ready. It&apos;s much more a market place, with a bunch of food stalls.
