We had a bull mastiff. Huge but gentle. He protected my 5 kids like no tomorrow.

Neo’s are some of the most loving mushes they are just big babies. I was involved in American bulldog and Cane Corso rescue and occasionally came across a Neo all these dogs ever craved was love. I am no longer in dog rescue but my friend rescues fosters and often adopts unwanted Cane’s she’s also had two Neo’s one was 165 pounds when he reached up for a hug Ihe accidentally took me down. This enormous baby just wanted to cuddle and snug. They are often plagued with cherry eye and severe joint problems causing them great pain that’s why they are often abandoned or surrendered.

My Basset hound ROSIE has a different story, but similar, she loved my kids. The night after their funeral, a bad day for me, she stayed outside and barked all night, she never did it before or after, she was saying goodbye. <br>This was a hard story for me to share, I probably won’t ever again, it just hurts to much. And YT is a safe place

I had a Neapolitan female. Best dog ever, really, and all of my dogs were wonderful but she was someone special.
