  Some nice yellow you got there. I live just 65 miles from Ulverston, from where that pioneer was from. Ulverston is also the birthplace of one Stan Laurel.

  I’d bet the old timers didn’t miss checking any spots &nbsp;because they didn’t go out there for the day, they went out there for the months. Not much else to do but look for money in the ground.

  EXCELLENT WORK GENTS!!! CONGRATS ON A SUCCESSFUL TRIP!!!! - So glad you took us along with ya too!!!! The Outback has some of the most unique terrain, and a quartz mountain littered with gold is FOR SURE up there with one of the sweetest!!<br>You guys ever think about digging into a mine like the one you found in this vid? Maybe not digging it all the way out, but clearing some of the surface and opening up somewhere to stick the detector into, or just scanning the walls &nbsp;of the hole. They didn&apos;t have that kind of tech back then,. so there is for sure plenty that they missed, and you know this for a fact. I didn&apos;t see any tailings around that hole, so maybe they back filled the hole in an attempt to keep it hidden in case they ever came back, So next time you make your way to that site you should see if the hole was backfilled with the quartz they pulled out. <br>Glad ya&apos;ll had a great time and made some finds along the way. I really enjoyed the trip too!!! I can&apos;t wait to see what you guys find next!!!!! BE SAFE and STAY AWESOME!!!!

  Gold is where you find it and sometimes you’re lucky enough to find it in the most bizarre places. Those can be the spot that really change the way you think about prospecting. It’s frustrating and exciting at the same time. Good work guys. 🎉
