  That was plain and uncomplicated abuse. Why is she still being expected to pay for them? I hope her share was 10%-20% any more and that would be criminal.

  That last scene where she was talking to her younger self had me tearing up. I’m glad that the adult her fought for the child. I hate abusive and biased parents so much. How dare you bring a child into the world and make them suffer? It was your decision to have them, yet why should they only receive your hatred and the world’s indifference? Don’t have children!!!

  From what little I know of Asian cultures the family elders usually stay with the eldest son unless there are only daughters. In this case, especially with the way they treat their daughter, why they expect her to take them in is laughable. My foot would be kicking them out the door so fast they'd be getting whiplash. They're the type you go no contact with as soon as possible, and probably get a permanent restraining order for the entire family as well.

  I HAVE NEVER UNDERSTOOD HOW PARENTS LOVE BOYS OR MALE CHILDREN MORE, AND THE DAUGHTER IS THEIR MAID AND CARETAKER.   I SEE AND HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT CARE OR LOVE FOR THE DAUGHTER.  ONE NEVER KNOWS HOW BLESSED THEY ARE UNTIL YOU HEAR SOMEONE ELSE'S STORY ABOUT WHO THE PARENTS LOVE AND WHY.   I THANK THE LORD FOR MY PARENTS, THEIR DISCIPLINE, AND THE PRAISE THEY GAVE US. I COME FROM A FAMILY OF 5: THREE BOYS AND TWO GIRLS, INCLUDING MYSELF.  AND NEVER FACED ANYTHING LIKE THIS YOUNG LADY DID.  MAKING SENSE OF ONE JOB AND GETTING MONEY OUT OF HER. THE EMBARRASSMENT OF ALL OF THAT.   GLAD BLACK, BECAUSE PARENTS ACT DIFFERENTLY AND SHOW LOVE DIFFERENTLY
