The reason Mrs Applebaum stresses the importance of social media, is because it IS so important. In my old days, you needed to be aware whether something your read or saw was true or not. Now we need to be aware WHY we see this content. That is a whole new level. Which humanity is not used to yet.

Anne A. - - (and hosts) thanks for your illumination. Curious, many coinciding here, late 80's trip, Poland. Now, I an American Babyboomer, 40+ days older than the Donald, volunteer, teach and live in Central Ukraine. I am fascinated.
