New and used pickup truck prices have gotten completely out of hand. When your average midsize pickup truck costs over $50K now and your average full-size, heavy duty truck will run you over $85K... Something has got to give. The average sale price of a brand new truck in 2026 is over $64,500. Let that sink in. Auto makers have normalized these crazy price tags on truck today... and people are no longer able to afford them. People are voting with their wallets in 2026, auto manufacturers need to pivot and offer cheaper options. New trucks today are coming with too much tech and their prices reflect that. So many Denali, High County, Capstone, TRD Pro, Limited, Platinum, King Ranch trims out there... and not enough XL, STX, SR, SR5, SV, LT examples. Not everyone needs the fully loaded Chevy Silverado 1500, or GMC Sierra, or Ram 1500, or Toyota Tundra. A lot of people just want less. The bare minimum to work without a headache. Reliability, Simplicity, and Affordability is the perfect truck combo in 2026. In this video, I highlight the all-new cheap truck option that will change the car industry.
