  He died in 2019. &nbsp;He probably saw Into The Spiderverse and its intentional 8fps animation and lost his mind, and spent his last few months screaming like Zig Zag after he stepped on a tack. &nbsp;He wanted to make fluid animation, frame by frame, using just ink and cels, and computer animation comes out that would significantly help with this process. &nbsp;He then sees artists squander this powerful magic for barely discernible animation and goes into a manic attack.
