  About the custom sword: it used to be Viking tradition to go find the greatest blacksmith in the land, and commission a sword for your wedding to give as a present. Then, once you got your amazing wedding sword, you gave it to your husband the day of the wedding and you would be in charge of the ancestral swords that were passed down from generations to give to the new bride as a gift for their wedding. I honestly like this much more than rings. When my parents got married my mom just gave my dad the (this was new back then) PS2. Bring back wedding swords!
