  A walk from Shin-Koenji to Asagaya in Tokyo covers a vibrant stretch of Suginami ward, moving from retro subculture hubs to cozy, elegant neighborhood shopping streets. Connected via the Marunouchi subway line, Shin-Koenji sits right by the vibrant, vintage-heavy, and indie music-centric Koenji area. Features nostalgic local shopping paths filled with secondhand clothing stores, small bars, and independent cafes. Walking north from Shin-Koenji toward Asagaya takes you through quiet residential backstreets mixed with old public baths (sento) and neighborhood shrines.
