Inside Danny's Beautifully Renovated & Extended Home in South London

Watch our Behind The Build episode with him here (Over Budget & Living on a Building Site | ...), where we delve into the renovation, what went right...and what went wrong! Description: Step inside Danny's renovated late Victorian home in London - a house stripped right back to brick and rebuilt with real care, where reinstated cornicing, restored fireplaces and antique finds sit alongside Crittall doors, a green quartzite island and a striking zinc-clad extension 🏡✨ Bought in 2023, the plan was simple: move in, do a bit of wallpapering, take it room by room. Then the plaster started crumbling off the walls. What followed was a full renovation — a year of design and planning, then a complete strip back to brick. Inside, the house has been carefully restored to its heritage: block Victorian cornicing reinstated, a plaster head stripped of decades of paint, an original staircase that took a year to bring back, and a working gas fireplace fully restored in the main bedroom. If you love Victorian renovations done properly, heritage details mixed with modern moves, and homes styled without an interior designer, this one's for you.
