  I grew up in the whitest, most rural town possible, and I still can&apos;t even comprehend being as obtuse as Carmen or Bruno. &nbsp;They seriously just can&apos;t comprehend normal behavior. &nbsp;Even if it wasn&apos;t a charged racial issue, asking to touch her hair while she&apos;s working?? &nbsp;That&apos;s weird in ANY situation

  I love how Renee’s friend hears that she’s black and her immediate concern is just that she’s not actually moving into her neighborhood so it’ll be harder for them to hang out. That’s so sweet. Like she could not care less about this extremely weird situation or the fact her friend is black (which is a low bar but yknow… Bruno so the bar is in hell) she just cares about wether they’ll still be able to meet or if the drive is going to be too far.

  Why would they set up the black dad to try and talk Bruno into accepting REPARATIONS? He doesnt even accept that black people experience discrimination, like, ever. You couldnt have a less open audience for that conversation.

  I love that Bruno tried to remove race from him not wanting to be at that party by saying that the world of dominoes was just not where he belonged. The world of dominoes is tough, it&apos;s okay. Not everyone can handle the ruthlessness of the game

  i rlly like and feel for rose, shes really just young and naive from being raised by her wack ass parents. you can tell shes open to learning and her moment where she realized she couldn&apos;t begin to understand the other ppls troubles seemed so genuine if that makes sense
