Yeah, it was at a high after Shibuya. Then it fell apart once we got back from Akutami’s first hiatus that led to the Culling Games arc. But I wonder if this was due to the editor change he had where his editor up to Shibuya was there. Then the change happened and then that’s what happened. On a side note. Akutami’s editor up to Shibuya he did bump heads with him. But a part of me wonders if he was trying to help to get that sense of emotion, and then the change happened and Akutami forgot all that and focused on those other side characters and got lost with the story, power system, and was caught up with Sakuna. Even the ending was just so weird and a bit meta as even Akutami knew they couldn’t show everything when the characters actually admit it. But I had no idea that was Sakuna’s middle finger. I know that Akutami is a fan of stories like Bleach, Togashi’s works on YYH and HxH, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. But I wonder if he took the worst parts cause the character interactions and transitions to fights felt so unnatural.

Tho jjk won’t ever make my top 10 manga, it surly has impacted my views on what great story telling and character development and impact is and should be. Forever grateful to Gege for this piece of art

You're easily my favourite anime/bleach YouTuber. I kid you not I listen to the Bleach timeline video almost every night to go to sleep, girlfriend hates hearing it in the bed but some nights it's my lullaby hahaha. Thanks for putting out such good content, you're a real legend and your commitment to long form content should be highly praised. 7 hours is absolutely mental... Blessings from Australia.
