  One of the strongest insights comes just after the 19-minute mark: God is forming “character that depends entirely on God, not on itself.” That does not mean passively “letting go and letting God.” Joseph’s dependence upon God was expressed through personal responsibility—faithfulness when no one was watching, integrity when compromise would have been easy, endurance under injustice, forgiveness of those who harmed him, and wisdom when enormous responsibility was finally entrusted to him.<br><br>It is also important to distinguish strong character from good and godly character. Courage, discipline, self-control, and perseverance can serve pride or selfish ambition unless they are willingly aligned with the good that God defines. Perseverance develops proven character; godliness gives that character its proper allegiance and direction, so that strength can mature into kindness and love.<br><br>Godly character is therefore not freedom from responsibility, but the kind of faithful dependence upon God that enables a person to carry responsibility without being crushed by it—or corrupted by it. Thank you for emphasizing this important preparation for service in God’s kingdom. Character is not good merely because it is strong; it becomes reliably good when its strength is aligned with God’s character and ways.

  I keep saying I forgive them, I pray for them but the pain screams so loud some days. I&apos;ve cried out to God that he release me from their hurt because I am tired, it still breaks me.

  Six months ago, I realized that I was “in a season”. It was unmistakable. I actually called it “stripping season”. And today, I come across this video. I’m in the phase where it’s getting harder still. But I’m staying surrendered. Sometime you come across videos that you think are made just for you. This is one of them. 🙏
