  For the guys trying to save$ get 100 packs of Mustad blued sproat hooks. They have shank barbs that keep the worm in place . Sz 1/0 or 2/0 it’s about $20 for 100 hooks, and they work great for thin finesse worms. And Ball split shot without the pinch tabs are way cheaper than wire hanger weights. Just tie a knot below the split shot .  I’ve been doing this on ML no problems. ML Fast , 8lb x8 braid, 7LB FC Sniper leader.  No issues at all hook setting robo worms, crème scoundrels, zoom finesse, or whatever thin worm you like.

  Dude that's my setup. Roboworm, 3/16 wt, 1/0 rebarb hook. Sometimes I have to force myself to fish something else. I'll pitch it around shallow cover or fish it deep. It almost always works.

  Owner cover shot are my go to, the make a HD (heavy duty) version if you want to fish it on a lighter baitcaster on a power shot

  You can easily cut the long lead dropshot weights with pliers and get the lighter size if you need too… it’s helped me when I can just find 3/16 and wanted half the weight just cut it. Just a pointer. bass thumbs up !

  Use a sliding bobber so it keeps your worm straight above your weight so when you make a really long cast your line angle from your weight to rod tip doesn't reduce your lure height.

  I went and grabbed some roboworms in Aaron's magic and Margarita Mutilator. My bass pro didn't have 6 inch so I got the 4.5 inch version. Also no vmc or roboworm rebarb hooks. They did have 1 pack of Mustad alpha point finesse in 1/0. So far Ive caught 8 or 9 bass on it. I been throwing it around wood with alot of success. Im fishing from a kayak and using a 12 inch leader down to the weight. Now I can fish it in cover! Sweet!
