Can people not just be happy that Alex is developing continuously instead of cognitively stagnating, even if he is no longer a perfect delegate for your beliefs, isn't it better that he is actually engaging with philosophy?

Jesus' command of language and metaphor are top shelf. He gets into these verbal jousts and vexes the Pharisees with his analogies, even employing wit. He is quite remarkable.
