  The neatest thing I remember when was a kid was visiting really rich people was they didn&apos;t live near other people..they lived rural.. kinda like they lived in structures that looked like barns....nothing was outside .<br>One of my mentors had basically a hanger house..It was a large building like a small warehouse..<br><br>It was multi level and everything was &nbsp;on the second floor..<br>The bottom flour had..two or three airplanes and a helicopter.... Not fancy boats..just AIRPLANES..and their yard was a grass RUNWAY..yep with a orange wind sock flapping around..<br><br>When ever they wanted to go somewhere the would just gas up a single engine or twin engine airplane and just TAKE OFF AND GO.... To CALIFORNIA OR NEW YORK<br><br>And everyone could fly..they had their pilots license before they could legally drive a car....and one thing else.. everybody carried personal protection..They were like<br> The Beverly Hillbillys..only they dressed a little nicer..and they NEVER EVER BRAGGED ABOUT WHAT THEY HAD..THEY JUST SAID THAT THEY WERE &quot; BLESSED..THE GOOD LORD &nbsp;WAS WATCHING OVER THEM..&quot;<br><br>My best friend lived there..and he never seemed to be bothered by anything..he just liked his stuff and enjoyed life.<br>To this day I&apos;ll always remember these people..His Mom just adored me and was always giving me boxes of books and magazines like NATIONAL GEOGRAPHICS..and TIME..LIFE .lots of older editions.<br><br>I NEVER TURNED HER DOWN..<br><br>I DIDN&apos;T REALIZE UNTIL I GREW UP..THAT THEY WERE MILLIONAIRES..<br><br>They didn&apos;t feel like that me..this was back in the sixties...and they didn&apos;t come across as racist at all to me..<br><br>They didn&apos;t seem to notice that I didn&apos;t look like them ..I was just another nerdy kid like their son.<br><br>Only a Darker color...<br><br>We are still good friends.to this day..<br><br>It&apos;s weird how good class people are misunderstood to me.<br><br> &nbsp; 🐺 ❤

  I grew up in the 1950&apos;s with no books and went to 12 yrs of Catholic School. &nbsp;My all girls HS was full scholarship. &nbsp;I went to a public college, free tuition NYC 1960&apos;s BA and MS. &nbsp;When my Poli Sci professor asked me what I thought about &nbsp;something...I realized that was the first time any one had asked me what I thought. <br>THAT was my wake-up call. &nbsp;The UCLA Study #2 is available on Amazon and most interesting. I have not had a TV for over 20yrs. &nbsp;Many were useful most had nothing to do with an upper class home. I did appreciate the humor.

  Rich families discuss money but not at the dinner table. Appropriate and polite dinner table conversation does not include politics, religion, racial matters, or money. It&apos;s too easy to get into a disagreement and then an argument when talking about those subjects. And that unpleasantness is not good for appetite or digestion.

  Very true the middle class spend money on stuff instead of putting money away . I know I do . If I’ve saved the money I’ve made all these years . I would be wealthy . Money is the &nbsp;a rich persons hobbie

  People keep things they really shouldn&apos;t have kept thou. For books, I can say categorically that investing in books go a long way in one&apos;s life
