  People are ridiculous! READ your lease, pay your rent. Simple as that. If the landlord violated the lease agreement, absolutely record all interventions.

  I was a landlord for 38 yrs and once they got the key it was their home I never went inside a renters home,these landlords act more like HMO property police.telling ppl how to live inside the home,idiots.

  The last lady with the 6K water bill sounds like she on some bullshit. How TF your bill foes from $156 every month to 6 racks in 5mos?? You dont EVER glance at the amount?? I've never paid water but i do pay power & garbage. I've had my lights off before and moving out was never a consideration. Thats wild!! You would rather move to a HOMELESS SHELTER with your 2 kids rather than find other resources?? Being in a homeless shelter with kids & as a kid is traumatic.  That would be my LAST resort.  To not notice your water bill has gone up to almost 2k/mo is unfathomable.  I don't buy it. Mind you, even if you move,  wouldn't that bill just follow you to your next place?? Just cuz you move addresses don't mean shit. That bill is attached to YOU...not the PROPERTY.

  Reluctant landlords make me so angry. If you can't leave your tenants alone because you are worried about every little thing they do, you shouldn't be renting out your property. Those two women who walked into the tenant's place while she wasn't home have definitely done that before. Smart thinking to put up cameras. Her place looked nice and clean, and those two were freaking out like she was a hoarder.

  I had a landlord who would just walk in. One time he walked into one of the other apts as the guys wife was coming out of the shower. Yeah he never did it again. He was a creep! Have a wonderful holiday weekend Sandy! ❤

  That lady with the mice is gaslighting the hell outta of that landlord. Baby that house is junky. If you got clothes and trash everywhere, most likely y'all got food everywhere dummy. I would've initiated the eviction immediately.
