Can Carrick Fix United Before It Gets Worse?

As we keep saying, the manager alone doesn’t fix anything. We had holes in our team at the end of last season and once again we haven’t brought the players in. Unless there’s a transfer window opening tomorrow and the owners suddenly want to start winning games, nothing is getting fixed

Thanks for veering away from spending another hour on Man City's charges guys. With all the upcoming appeals and re-appeals, this fiasco is gonna drag on for years yet before anything happens anyway. With regard to the important stuff, I think that for better or worse Micheal Carrick will get the entire season anyway. INEOS tolerated a bottom half finish under Ruben, so they won't pull the trigger until the summer, and then they WILL pull the trigger!

If people actually knew how PSR worked, then what the Glazers and INEOS have done to United would blow your minds. PSR favours the top clubs. They have a 40-yard head start in a 100-yard race and still can't win it even once in 13 years. This level of incompetence is unprecedented. People say Barca and Madrid have a huge advantage over the other La Liga teams. It's the same in the Prem, it's just Braca and Madrid take full advantage while United fumbles their advantage.

Its very simple. Bruno is our (by far) best player, which set a certain level of expectations (unlike with many of our players which we have low expectations to). So, we always look to Bruno to save us, and when he does have a bad game people get extra disapointed and they get frustrated with him because of the high expectations. But when say dalot has a bad game, noone lifts and eyelid, cause we expect it.

Yes but not this season. He needs a consolidation season and 2027/2028 is his year.

No I don’t think he can. He got the job because he did the simple things right. He played the correct 11 in the correct positions and it worked. He’s now gone in a totally different direction and it’s not working. His whole front 3 are in the wrong positions. The midfield worked because we had a 6 covering for Bruno. He’s stopped playing a 6

We will not win a single of those games, might draw against Leeds and Bournemouth 🤣.

To all the Bruno haters, would you rather have Tom Cleverly Mr sideways 100 times per game or Bruno who tries something 100 times per game?

Carrick hasn't got rhe experience or know how to tuen united around... was a poor choice of manager if you was going to spend peanuts in the transfer market.
