Did this after the Army. Did training in Florida and did this work for several years. Once, I experienced High-Pressure Nervous Syndrome (HPNS). After that and having the air adjusted, I started to rethink that career. Eventually got out of sat diving after taking my wife's advice and started nuclear diving. People think I'm crazy but it isn't as crazy or bad as it seems and yes, the pay isn't as great too as sat diving is at the top for pay but it is certainly not taxing on the body. Long term effects for sat diving isn't good.

These guys need to be paid MUCH more.<br>And they should get a salary type of situation where they earn the same money all year regardless of the amount of dives they do, within reason, of course.

I was a diver for 12 years. About 6 of those years was Sat. I loved it. My body couldn’t keep going. I have arthritis in my spine and other joints so bad that even medicated I’m limited and will be for the rest of my life. I’m not sure if the diving did it but even if it did I would do it all over again. I know for a FACT that I’ve walked where no human has ever walked. I’ve experienced things that few have known and honestly not all that many even know enough about to imagine. God bless all you divers out there.
