  Dr. Bergsma! I just started my theology program at CIU on Monday and in my first assignment I talked about a video I watched where you spoke to the Greek gendered nouns in St. Ignatius of Antioch’s letter when he wrote about the Eucharist which 1) was foundational in bringing me to the faith and 2) made me go “I need to be able to do that!” and lit the fire in my heart to be able to share the truth of Christ with the many, through faith and reason. Thank you so much for all you do.

  And Simon I rename you Peter (rock).<br><br>Protestants that doesn’t mean rock.<br><br>Church: Jesus is the Rock, but here Jesus gave Peter the keys and his name means “rock” and Peter is now the steward with the keys to look after building the church on earth after Jesus ascends. This makes Peter a rock, the steward, the head priest in likeness of Aaron. <br><br>All global human organizations on the planet have a CEO with an executive council. Mankind found this out only in the last couple hundred of years. Christ knew this when he built his church 2000 years ago.

  Thank you Dr. Bergsma I always appreciate your commentary. One thing I have noticed with really all commentaries on Matthew 16 is that nobody ever puts any focus on the fact that Jesus says &quot;MY&quot; church. He doesn&apos;t say &quot;one of my 30K churches&quot; he doesn&apos;t say &apos;The&quot; church either. By saying &quot;MY&quot; church isn&apos;t Jesus alluding to that fact that there will be other churches that aren&apos;t his???
