The analysis of the overhead kick that becomes an analysis of Micah is just too hilarious! Gotta love these guys.

He was a beast. Hat-trick on his Champions League debut. Ridiculous.

Put Wayne in any era and he'll still be one of the greatest. That's how good he was.

No doubt by today's hype, Rooney is surely underrated. People don't talk about enough. He is for me England's greatest tbh. His achievement would be even crazier if he could go 4-5 years longer at United. What a GOAT.

I know this is a prem-focused show. But Rooney's contribution to DC United was huge, and there's an iconic moment where his team are tied deep into stoppage time. The whole team is up for a free kick, it gets cleared and the other team is breaking the other way. Rooney busts a gut, puts in a brilliant tackle, wins the ball and then plays a 40 yard diagonal to Lucho Acosta (the shortest guy on the pitch) to head in the winning goal. Absolutely brilliant.

There are a few people in history who are absolutely positionless and I identify as simply ballers , Rooney is one of those

Arguably one of the best, if not the very best all around player. Absolute elite attacker who also worked his socks off, pressed, tracked back etc. he did it all

Also was England's top scorer and still United's leading goalscoring despite being so unselfish.
