While there is strategy in Cribbage, there is also tons of luck that prevents the better player from 100% beating up on the inexperienced player. so no need to worry about playing with the person who brought their board.

My buddies and I used to save up our coins and play nickel-dime-quarter poker about once a month when I was a teenager. This was long before Texas Hold'em became a thing. We didn't even know what that was. - - It was so much fun.

3 vs. 3 at Hearts is a great game. Eight tricks to shoot the moon. Worked at Western Electric in Reading, PA in the early 1980s and the engineers would play every lunchtime.

42 is a fun domino game that’s often described as “Spades for Dominoes”

Cribbage isn’t just 2 player btw! There are ways to play with 3 and 4 that are still excellent. There are ways to play with 5 or 6 as well but it’s less optimal

26:20 Checkers also has a ton of variants, brazillian draughts and 10x10 international draughts make it much more strategic

I grew up on Spoons. It was a great camping game, and anytime people would have a Poker night it would invariably morph into a Spoons night, instead. I'd love to know how Tom played it, because I've never heard of it being played with partners - I didn't realize there might be variations of the game.

58:23 thanks! Although I don't know why the stream view was bugged this time. Everyone else didn't have any issues with the count not updating.

I've played a lot of these games but wouldn't want to play most of them again other than Hearts, Poker, Spades and Crokinole. I would like to try Cribbage.

In my opinion Spades and Euchre are both better then Hearts.
