Albion Estate is a subdivision, not a housing scheme. The lots were sold mainly overseas (England) in the 1960's and 1970's. The problem when lots are sold overseas is that the owners keep the lots for years and do not build on the lots until they return to Jamaica, usually when they retire. Sometime the owners get sick even before they can build their dream houses. This keeps the areas under-developed for years. When the returning Jamaicans build, the houses are usually some very large structures. When houses schemes are built, the area develop faster as people usually move in as soon as the houses are delivered.

Good video. Thank you. The people are paying taxes so the Government should fix the roads hopefully soon. Someone did say that road fixing had started on the double drive road.

Thanks for sharing..That's my scheme ..I was hoping you walk on my block. Roads are in terrible conditions. Yes that's a short cut mostly used to go to the main road..until the owner ready to build.😂😂
