Lovely conversation, extremely inspiring and insightful. Why, though, is the name of Betta A. Not mentioned in the description box? Seems rather strange.

Good evening, this is what I've been thinking for far too long. Too many lies have made us overly suspicious, and rightly so.

Enjoying this conversation so very much! Fantastic! Onward...-<s>in response to an audience member that wants to do away with the left/right connection....I would say that you can't get away from the left/right terminology. As a general rule, Left leaning people are more creative that Right leaning people -</s> Left leaning people want to do away with boundaries while Right leaning people want to create boundaries...and other comparisons. But I would like to hear a discussion on this matter by the panel. I'm open to that!! Omg, Brian is now discussing this!! Great!

For the question about an alternative for the left-right division, Bruno Latour had a solution: 'terrestrial'. For more info, please see his book 'Down to Earth: Politics in the New Climatic Regime' (2018).

Antonio Gramsci 22 January 1891 – 27 April 1937 made almost the same point about Marxism almost 100 years ago. He criticized Marxism for its simplified views on society. Marx claimed the his theorie where based on sience where 'the Utopians' believed in doing the right thing out of the heart. Gramsci was a Marxist but said that Marx believe in economics only, the place and feelings of people cant be forgotten. So Marx believed all working class people all over the world must and will be united, Gramsci explained that not all working people feel thay are one with other working people from another country. Anyway Socialism in the word would probably have been more succesfull if it would have been more in touch with the feeling of people. Then again politics only based on feeling is very dangerous.
