The only reason you might not want to use the stock RCA/AUX ports is that many of them are treated as an after thought. <br><br>The companies that make these items put way more time and effort into optical and HDMI ports. Since they know that you will probably hook them up to a sound bar or bluetooth speaker anyway.

This video was great and informative. Set up your camera so it doesn't cut your head off. You are a natural explaining this stuff. I have a Bose Wave radio as my soundbar and I like it just fine. I didn't think about the digital being converted to analog anyway. This is how I will run optical to the Bose

I use the analog to digital connected to my cassette decks and yes i can confirm that it improves the sound quality and output volume significantelly.i recomend to anyone who uses analog sources connected to a modern amplifiers,it makes a huge difference and enables old analog gear to be used in a modern era systems!
